Mark and Lewis would like to welcome you to Hawkstalon the home of hard working wirehaired vizslas.
I considermyself to be very lucky and be able to work the dogs for about 8 mounths of the year. This starts with summer grouse counting at the begining of August, progressing to grouse beeting and picking up and mybe the odd shot over day.By the end of September the grouse season is over for us as i have started to fly Red Sonja female Harris hawk.Although the dogs are not expected to cover as much ground now ,they are and do work dense cover. Hawking continues untill the end of March. We also beet and pickup on a small pheasant shoot,at the end of the pheasant season we start the spring grouse counting which takes through to the first week in April and then we all have some time out.
